ADMISSION

Our school admits both international and local students throughout the year for preschool (ages 2 to 3), pre-kindergarten (age 4), kindergarten (age 5), and grades 1-6 (ages 6-11). Applications for the current year are accepted if there is available space. We welcome you to visit our friendly staff and administrators in our new school building and also to make an appointment to meet our principal, Mrs. Lori A. Walsh.

American Standard International School is affiliated with some of the best and the most prestigious educational boards and organizations in the world. This is due to the links and agreements signed by ASIS with various institutions over several years while the school was being planned.

 

ASIS ensures that the school is certified by and/or compliant with procedures outlined by the Ohio Board of Education, US Department of Education, and by AdvancEd, an American school accrediting organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This assures the students of ASIS the best learning experience under strict internal and external quality controls.

• American Education Group: an Uniited States educational corporation based in Columbus, Ohio specializing in educational training and consultancy.
• Ohio Board of Education: the source of curriculum organization and set-up.
• US Dept. of Education: the source of guidelines for testing.
• Franklin University: located for over a century in Columbus, Ohio, Franklin University is our university partner in the US. Franklin supplies materials and training for our teachers and students. They also guarantee admission to ASIS graduates who score at a predetermined level on a standardized test.
• Chicago Training and Consultancy Services: a source of training for administrators in effective school management.
• AdvancEd: based in Atlanta, Georgia, the largest world-wide accrediting agency for US and international schools, will oversee our process of achieving accreditation, which is a 2-4 year process.
